The Gustavsberg Porcelain Museum is situated in Gustavsberg, on the island of Värmdö, east of Stockholm, in the former factory district, now known as Gustavsbergs hamn (the Gustavsberg Harbour). The neighbourhood is home to studios, shops, restaurants, cafés, galleries and a marina.

By public transport, from Stockholm
Take bus 474 from Slussen, direction Hemmesta or Mölnvik. Get off at bus stop "Vattenhjulet". The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. The walk from the bus stop to the museum takes just a few minutes. An SL ticket for the bus can be bought at the Pressbyrån kiosk in Gustavsberg Centrum.
By car
Highway 222 to Gustavsberg exit, about 20 km. After 2 km, turn left at Farstaviken. Driving time from Slussen 20 minutes.
Parking is available in Gustavsberg Harbour (hamn), close to the museum, and at Iittala Outlet. There is an accessible parking space just in front of the museum.
By boat
